Want to delete your Lookas account? No problem. Fill in the form – your email app opens with a message ready to go. Send it off and we'll take care of deleting your account and the data that goes with it.

How to request deletion

Open this page in any web browser – you don't need the app or an account login.
Enter your display name and the email address linked to your Lookas account (a reason is optional).
Tap “Send deletion request by email” – your mail app opens with a ready-made message to hey@lookas.app.
Send the email. If the button doesn't work, just email hey@lookas.app directly.
We confirm receipt and delete your account and the data associated with it within 30 days.

You can request deletion from any web browser – without reinstalling Lookas, opening the app, or signing in.

What gets deleted

Your profile (display name, profile picture, email link)
Your uploaded photos
Your game progress: XP, Drops, levels, streaks and guesses

What we keep – and for how long

Records we are legally required to keep (e.g. for tax or accounting reasons) – only where such obligations apply, for the period prescribed by law (typically up to 10 years), after which they are deleted or anonymized.
Residual copies in encrypted backups, which are automatically overwritten as part of our backup rotation (usually within 90 days) and cannot be restored afterwards.
Advertising-related data is processed by Google (AdMob) under Google's own retention periods; you can manage it via your Google ad settings.
Anonymized or aggregated statistics that can no longer be traced back to you.

We usually process deletion requests within 30 days. Everything except the data listed under “What we keep” is permanently and irreversibly deleted; statutory retention obligations remain unaffected.
